It is advisable to pressure-test the heating pipes first. The heating must not be on during pouring. Heating can start on the fifth day after pouring. On the next day, start ventilating the room. The room temperature must not drop below 5c. Dehumidifiers and raising the temperature also help drying. The final drying time depends on many factors, but on average it is 1cm per week. Gypsum screed is ready for a floor covering when its moisture content is 1.0% for vapour-permeable materials or tiles, or 0.5% for parquet or vapour-tight
